You can use a model 208 for your 2WD Ford Super Duty, giving you a better ball location but you can not turn your ball over to the stored position when your truck is overloaded. When overloaded the ball turned in the stored position may hit and damage the rear end and drive shaft housing. When over loaded or hauling heavy loads, take the ball out when using the Model 208 in a 2WD.

Flip-Over the ball from its upright position to have a level bed. The ball can rotate in the socket to keep it clean and save the ball from a bad coupler. Simply rotate the handle located in the wheel well of truck 90 degrees to release or lock the ball: no having to try and hook or catch a small handle to release or lock the ball!
