Gooseneck Hitch for Semi-Tractor or Cab & Chassis - 205ST45K, 45,000 GVW

Model 205ST45K is a gooseneck hitch for a semi-tractor, comes with a heat-treated stainless steel 2-5/16 inch gooseneck ball and is rated at 45,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight.  All our frames for semi-tractors, cab & chassis for trucks and pickups are fabricated from ½ inch high grade steel, not A36 structural steel and are rated to 45,000 GVW. The frame has two openings to each side and behind the gooseneck ball to connect safety chain hooks to. These gooseneck hitches are installed by drilling three 3/4" holes on each side of truck frame and the bolts are included.

The gooseneck ball base is round and rotates in its socket which keeps the socket clean, and can save ball life if you have a coupler that is of poor quality or is rough which a lot of them are. The ball is locked in the one-piece machined steel socket with a stainless-steel spring and locking pin. Simply rotate the handle 90 degrees to retract the pin, pull the ball out and store it inverted out of the way in the socket giving full access to your 5th wheel hitch. Flip the ball over and you have clearance to use your 5th-wheel hitch.

This hitch also works for a Cab & Chassis if you have clearance between the frame at the rear axle and 2 inches below the top of the frame. Most cab & chassis require a model with a (-T) model that is 2 inches taller to clear exhaust and other clearance issues between the frame. Semi-tractors, cab & chassis trucks and pickups have 34-inch-wide frames.
